Picturesque Plockton... and MORE!

Picturesque Plockton… and MORE!

Picturesque Plockton. As well as exploring one of the most beautiful towns in the whole of Scotland, this tour includes Craig Highland Farm – a magically charming place in a beautiful location. Meet the wonderful collection of animals from rare breed sheep to llamas and owls… and you might even meet Reggie the Raccoon! Perfect for children and adults alike. Then the tour takes you to the most famous castle in Scotland: Eilean Donan. This is a very flexible tour with lots to see and do. Highly recommended.

Raasay Explorer

Raasay Explorer

Many people agree that the BEST views of Skye are from the Isle of Raasay. In this trip you’ll cross the water on Skye’s newest hi-tech ferry from Sconser to Raasay. Here we’ll drive the remote and spectacular route to the famous ‘Calum’s Road’. On the way back we can stop at  Raasay House for refreshments or for something far more exciting…. see their website! An exhilarating and very special trip.

Elgol and The Moon Pools

The Cuillins from Elgol was recently voted one of the top three views in the UK. Getting there is pretty spectacular too and the journey is peppered with historic places of interest. Visit the wonderful Blue Shed Cafe (which in our opinion has the best views in the whole of the UK) and take a stroll at  the  ‘Moon Pool’ – similar to the Fairy Pools but one of Skye’s  better kept secrets. Bring your swimming cozzy and have a swim! We can drop you at the Bella Jane or Misty Isle Boat Trips at Elgol too!

Sleat Tarskavaig and Ord.

Sleat Tarskavaig and Ord.

Possibly the BEST jeep road on the island. It is certainly one of our favourites. Fantastic panoramas of Black and Red Cuillins. Plenty of photo opportunities that you won’t get on other tours. Great beaches to walk along, ruined castles and wonderful peace and quiet. Why not buy a disposable barbecue and have a cook-out on the beach – we can help arrange that for you too!

Kylerhea Pass, Glenelg and Arnisdale

Something very special. Traverse the Kylerhea Pass – the highest road on Skye – then take the short ferry crossing over to Glenelg on the mainland. The community-run ferry is romantic and charming and has been featured in many films and TV programmes. Then after a quick ‘snifter’ at the Glenelg Inn it’s onward to the fascinating ancient Brochs and onward to Arnisdale. There’s a fascinating James Bond connection with this area, but I’ll not give away the secret here. If you are lucky you might meet the famous Sheena, a wonderful lady, who runs her legendary tea room there.  This is remote, atmospheric Scotland at its very best. See the short video on the Welcome Page for a glimpse of this amazing trip. (NB: EASTER to MID-OCTOBER ONLY)
